1913-D<$20> MS66 PCGS. The sharp strike is free of criticism, and the surfaces display little in the way of noticeable abrasions. Rich reddish-gold color envelops both sides and speaks volumes about this coin's originality. The luster, while mostly satiny in sheen, reveals some suggestions of mint frost, particularly on the obverse. Only one other PCGS MS66 coin has been certified to date (10/05), and that piece is owned by Dr. Stephen Duckor (ex: Browning). NGC has certified four pieces (how many are resubmissions?).
From The Phillip H. Morse Collection of Saint-Gaudens Coinage.
