1913 5C Type Two PR67 PCGS. Second design type for the year, the Type Two nickel features a slightly modified ground on which the bison stands, and other minor alterations made by Charles Barber. The official mintage of 1,514 matte proofs places the Type Two as fourth among the seven issues, but in reality it is second in rarity among early proofs. This is an unusually attractive coin that has pale pastel toning over each side. Also nearly free from all traces of carbon. Population: 44 in 67, 4 finer (8/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
