1913 5C Type Two MS66 PCGS. The first 1913-dated Buffalo Nickels of the Type Two design were produced on May 10. Although the public did save some of these coins at the time of issue, much of the hype surrounding the introduction of the Buffalo series had already played itself out after the first of the Type One examples reached general circulation. As a result, the 1913 Type Two is not as plentiful in the finer Mint State grades than its similarly dated Type One counterpart.
