<B>1913 5C Type One MS68 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: Larry Shapiro. This example is one of less than a dozen that PCGS has certified as MS68, the highest quality seen by either NGC or PCGS. Both sides have a full strike with intense mint frost beneath pleasing gold and iridescent toning. The surfaces have a texture similar to matte proof examples, although the difference between proofs and mint state pieces is unmistakable. The present sale offers two different MS68 examples of this date, the first issue in the Buffalo nickel series.
