1913 $5 MS64 PCGS. With a mintage of 916,000 coins, this issue is one of the highest production Indian half eagles in the series from 1908 to 1929. In fact, only the 1909-D and 1911-S issues had higher mintage totals, but mintage is not the only important factor. This date is plentiful in MS64 grade, but it is a rarity any finer, with just 49 better coins certified by PCGS (4/07). The near-Gem example offered here is frosty and lustrous with brilliant yellow-gold surfaces. It is sharply struck and aesthetically desirable.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
