1913 $20 MS64 PCGS. After being struck, most 1913 double eagles apparently resided in Eastern banks, as gold stopped flowing across international borders under the threat of war (Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, 2006). The date is available through MS64, but higher-grade pieces are a significant condition rarity. This near-Gem displays rich orange-gold patina and pleasing luster. Its design elements are solidly struck, including the Capitol dome, Liberty's face, fingers, and toes, and the eagle's plumage. A few minute marks account for the grade.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
