1913 1C MS65 Red PCGS. With a 76 million plus mintage, the 1913 Philadelphia cent is relatively common. David Lange (2005) says: "All grades of Mint State are available. Fully red gems are in more limited supply and when found, these are seldom fully struck." A well executed strike on the MS65 Red specimen in this lot brings out sharpness in the design elements, including strong definition in Lincoln's hair and beard and on the wheat grains and associated lines. Copper-gold luster enlivens both sides, each of which is devoid of significant contact marks. The few light flecks scattered about do not detract.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
