<B>1912-S 5C MS65 NGC.</B></I> With an original mintage of only 238,000 pieces, it is little wonder that this S-mint delivery is a key date in the series. Both sides of this lovely Gem display deep olive and rose patina over essentially mark-free surfaces. An odd, mint-made line vertically bisects the reverse. While some of the lower wreath details display softness of strike, the balance of the features are quite well impressed. An attractive representation of this historically significant Liberty Head nickel issue.
