<B>1912-S $10 MS65 NGC.</B></I> In Gem Mint State grades, the 1912-S eagle is extremely rare. Just 300,000 of these pieces were coined in San Francisco during the year, and most that have survived have done so in lower Mint State grades or even in circulated grades, usually with little to offer in the way of eye appeal. This piece is a lovely example with fully brilliant yellow-gold surfaces. It is sharply struck and retains excellent eye appeal with impressive surfaces as expected for the grade. This is a coin that will please the numismatic perfectionist.
