1912-D 5C MS66 PCGS. The last year of the type, save for the fabulous 1913 Liberty nickels, and the first nickel issue from the Denver Mint. The 1912-D is always popular as the single D-mint issue in the series. At this grade level it is legitimately scarce, as well. Both sides have a smooth, satiny appearance beneath light golden patina. A couple of the lower-left stars and the left ear of corn show striking softness, as usual for the issue. A tiny dark spot under the 2 on the obverse rim serves as a pedigree identifier. Population: 27 in 66, 0 finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
