<B>1912-D 50C MS66 NGC.</B></I> Ex: Eliasberg. The 1912-D half dollar, with a mintage of 2,300,800 pieces, is one of the most, if not <I>the</B></I> most, common date in the Barber half dollar series. The "common" descriptor ends with the MS64 grade classification; MS65 coins are scarce, Premium Gems are rare, and finer examples are nearly unobtainable. This MS66 coin displays glowing luster from silver-gray surfaces that are peppered with speckles of olive-tan, especially on the obverse. The design elements are well impressed throughout.
