<B>1912 $20 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The 1912 change from 46 stars around the obverse and the edge to 48 was executed with subtlety, and though the change created a distinct subtype for the Saint-Gaudens series, few collectors recognize the distinction today. This vibrant sun-gold Saint-Gaudens offers excellent luster and strong detail. Attractive with few abrasions, though one mark extends from the L in LIBERTY to the I.
