<B>1912 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> True to most issues in the series, the 1912 can be located without too much cost or difficulty in average Uncirculated condition, with a quick check of census data from the two major services revealing that over 4,000 pieces have been certified in Mint State grades. Of course, the availability of Gem examples nearly drops off the radar screen.<BR> This lovely representative exhibits bright satin-like surfaces and is accented in delicate copper-golden patina. Both sides exhibit a sharp strike with good detailing even on the lower feathers of the headdress. A couple of small marks are noted above the feathers in the obverse field, however, these hardly detract.
