1911-D $2 1/2 MS63 PCGS. The 1911-D boasts the lowest mintage among 20th century quarter eagle issues and has long been regarded as the undisputed key of the Indian Head series. Much of its popularity is also derived from collectors that are not necessarily assembling a set of Indian quarter eagles, but wish to own some of the best-known key issues from the last century. Other candidates might include the 1909-S VDB Lincoln cent, 1916-D Mercury dime, or 1916 Standing Liberty quarter. This Select example displays attractive reddish overtones and minimal surface marks. The mintmark, while not fully defined, certainly falls under the bold category.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
