1911-D $2 1/2 MS63 PCGS. Gorgeous brassy copper-red coloration covers each side, while attractive gold and steel-gray accents are noticeable on the highpoints. The striking details are uniformly bold, including the headdress and the eagle's shoulder and talons. A tiny mark beneath Y in LIBERTY, and a couple of faint pinscratches on the reverse seem minimal as the only surface damage that might have limited the grade of the piece. The 1911-D is well known as the key date in the Indian quarter eagle series, and this Select Mint State example seems solidly graded and highly desirable as such.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
