1911-D $2 1/2 MS63 PCGS. A pronounced wire rim on the upper right obverse helps to confirm that this Select Mint State specimen is a genuine example of the key date 1911-D quarter eagle. Boldly struck and satiny, the coin displays lovely reddish honey-gold toning which is brightly illuminated by effulgent luster. Unlike most MS63 pieces, this one is near-pristine and seems to lack even the smallest of surface blemishes on either side. For the sake of accuracy, we note a small prooflike area below TRUST, near the lower right reverse rim. We hasten to add that this feature is not overly detracting, and that it should not have influenced the technical grade of the piece. Housed in a green label holder.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
