<B>1911-D $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> This is the key-date in the series from a tiny mintage of just 55,680, far and away the lowest mintage of any Indian Head quarter eagle struck from 1908 through 1929. This modest quality Mint State piece has a few light surface marks that are consistent with the grade. The surfaces are fully lustrous with satiny texture and sharp design features. We always like to offer a choice of pieces in our sales, and the present auction is certainly not an exception as more than half a dozen are offered.
