<B>1911-D<$10> MS61 PCGS.</B></I> It is not only the 1911-D quarter eagle that is the key to its series. Although sometimes not as well recognized, the 1911-D eagle is also key to the Indian eagle collection. The present example has appealing yellow-gold surfaces, but there is a bit of field haze on each side. Under a loupe, numerous abrasions appear on Liberty's cheek and temple, and a couple of light pinscratches show in the reverse field near the motto. Population: 21 in 61, 76 finer (9/06).
