1911 $20 MS64 PCGS. 1911 dated Saint-Gaudens double eagles were struck in Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco, although the number of P-mint coins struck (197,250) was substantially lower than that of the two branch mints. Logically, the number of near-Gem 1911 P-mint survivors is also considerably lower than the D-mint and S-mint counterparts. According to the PCGS Population Report, only 48 1911 Philadelphia Mint double eagles have been graded finer than MS64, and the highest grade achieved is MS66 (4/07). This piece has rich orange-gold mint luster and it is fully struck on each side.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
