<B>1910-S 50C MS67 NGC.</B></I> Well struck and highly lustrous, with a rich frosty sheen over both sides and essentially untoned silver-white surfaces. Faint roller marks are noted on Liberty's cheek, and a couple of tiny nicks are evident on the jaw and upper neck, but these are nearly invisible without the aid of magnification. Although close to 2 million 1910-S half dollars were produced, those coins were required in commerce and surprisingly few were set aside by contemporary collectors. As a result, fewer than 100 Mint State survivors are known, and this marvelous Superb Gem must be counted among the finest of those.
