<B>1910-S<$10> MS64 NGC.</B></I> This issue is one of the true condition rarities of the series: Gem and finer pieces of this issue number only eight specimens at both services, so this high-end near-Gem poses an especially attractive alternative. Luscious, deep orange-gold surfaces with coruscating luster are the hallmark of this elusive and important coin. The few light abrasions, mostly visible only under a loupe, are completely consistent with the near-Gem grade. Only a single tick is noted on the Indian's cheek, along with a small luster break on the reverse just above the motto. Extremely appealing! Census: 8 in 64, 4 finer (9/06).
