<B>1910-S $10 MS63 NGC.</B></I> A condition rarity in the Indian eagle series, one that despite its original high mintage was mostly obliterated in the wholesale gold meltings of the 1930s. Most survivors are well circulated, and few Mint State examples exceed MS63, the grade of the present example. This piece offers softly lustrous two-toned surfaces, with deep reddish-gold at the rims and yellow-gold centers. The strike is a bit soft on the highpoints of each side, and a couple of small ticks in those same areas contribute to the grade.
