1910 Philadelphia Athletics Championship Program 1910 Philadelphia Athletics World Championship Cele
1910 Philadelphia Athletics World Championship Celebratory Dinner Program from the Frank "Home Run" Baker Collection. Elegantly rendered program impresses with the embossed images of the team's mascot white elephant, the flags of the United States and the City of Philadelphia, and golden raised text reading "Dinner to the American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia, Champions of the World, by the Citizens of Philadelphia. November 5th, 1910, Bellevue-Stratford." We open the cover to find a terrific collage of photographic images of Mack, Collins, Plank, Bender and the program's former owner, Home Run Baker. The pages to follow list the evening's dinner menu and those honored guests, including the entirety of the 1910 squad and representatives of the Athletics Champions of 1883 and 1871, most notably A.J. Reach. Short of some minor foxing to the cardstock cover, the program remains in terrific, undamaged condition and stands as a special artifact of Connie Mack's first great dynasty. Measures 7x9.5" when closed.
