1910-D $20 MS66 PCGS. Numerous Uncirculated 1910-D double eagles remain from Mint-sewn bags that resided in European banks until sometime after World War II. Most of these grade through MS64, though Gems do occasionally appear on the market. Premium Gems are scarce to rare, and higher-grade pieces are virtually unobtainable, with only three examples certified by PCGS and NGC. This MS66 coin displays excellent definition throughout, which is typical of the issue. The usually seen satiny surfaces possess nice luster and peach-gold color with just the slightest hint of light green undertones. Both sides are remarkably free of mentionable abrasions. An inoffensive linear mark on the lower part of the 8th ray from the left may help to identify the piece. Population: 84 in 66, 2 finer (10/06).
From The Kutasi Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
