1910 50C PR68 NGC. Among Barber half dollars, the 1910 Philadelphia Mint issue is elusive in business strike form, placing additional demand on those proofs that have survived. Just 418,000 business strikes were produced, the fifth lowest mintage Barber half dollar behind the 1892-O issue and the highly regarded 1913, 1914, and 1915 issues. In addition to these coins struck for circulation, a total of 551 proof examples were coined in 1910. This production is also the fifth lowest proof mintage within this series. The obverse of this amazing Gem has lovely blue, lilac, and iridescent toning around a patch of brilliant silver luster. The reverse is toned with deep steel and iridescent color. A tiny contact mark on Liberty's cheek is the only blemish that we see, and this is hardly worth a mention. Tied for the finest certified proof 1910 Barber half dollar. Census: 7 in 68, 0 finer (10/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
