1910 1C PR67 Red NGC. The matte proof Lincoln cents exhibit a variety of different appearances from date to date. This example, with its sharp strike, has satiny luster on the obverse with a fine-grained sandblast look on the reverse. Walter Breen commented: "ANS's has very grainy matte surfaces; others have been seen with the same finish, still others with the satin finish seen on many 1909's." This piece apparently combines both appearances. Both sides retain full red mint color with a pale pinkish-orange obverse and deeper reddish-orange reverse. Despite a high proof mintage of 2,405 coins, few examples have survived with full original mint color. This piece is one of the best, with no finer examples certified by either NGC or PCGS. Census: 2 in 67, 0 finer (11/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
