<B>1910 $10 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Scintillating luster and remarkably clean fields affirm the exemplary quality of this impressive Premium Gem. Pumpkin-gold patina alternates with glimpses of lime-gold. The strike is pinpoint-sharp, even on the olive branch and the eagle's talons. The Denver Mint struck more than 2.3 million eagles in 1910, but the Philadelphia Mint production was approximately seven times smaller, perhaps because paper money was considered more convenient to use than gold coins in the East. The 1910 is nonetheless available in AU58 to MS63 grades, but as a bag-stored issue, it is significantly rare at the MS66 level.
