We attempt to take as deatiled an Image as possible of both the Obverse and Reverse of all coins and currency, While we try and accurately grade each coin, as coin grading is subjective, we encourage you to asses the pictures yourself and make a grading judgement yourself. We always 100% guarantee authenticity, but we do not guarantee any specific grade, nor do we guarantee that NGC or PCGS or any other grading company will agree to grade the coin. We strive for your repeat business and do everything we can to accurately photograph and describe the coin/currency.
This is a Great Example of a Saint-Gaudens $20 Gold. Nice Luster and Strike. In 1907 Augustus Saint-Gaudens redesigned the $20 piece, employing as the obverse motif the figure of Miss Liberty striding forward. The initial Saint-Gaudens design was struck in high relief, giving the coins an almost sculptured appearance. The date was expressed in Roman numerals, MCMVII. Some 11,250 of these coins were struck, after which the design was modified to a shallow format to permit production on high speed coinage presses. This coin weighs 33.40 grams. It is a 90% Gold Dollar BU Encapsulated and Graded ms64 by USCG. PCGS's Price Guide lists an ms64 at $2450 and NGC's Price Guide lists an ms64 at $2720. The Wholesale Greysheet lists an ms64 at $1980+. Estimated Value: $2300.
