1909-S VDB 1C MS65 Red PCGS. David Lange, in his Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents, writes: "It was not until the coin collecting hobby's period of greatest growth from the late 1930s through early 1960s that the 1909-S VDB cent became a particularly valuable coin. Earlier generations of collectors were well aware of the number hoarded and priced this issue accordingly." Nonetheless, the 1909-S VDB cent was, and remains, one of the most popular coins in American numismatics. We present here a sharply struck copper-gold Gem. Close inspection reveals a few minute reverse marks, and a flyspeck or two on the obverse. What appears to be a thin toning streak traverses Lincoln's head. Housed in a green-label holder.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
