<B>1909-S VDB 1C MS64 Red and Brown PCGS.</B></I> Among the various "folder series," so named for the cardboard folders with which many budding numismatists start, the Lincoln cent is the most popular, and the 1909-S, VDB cent is its best-known key date. It is little wonder that any example fetches a strong price today, and a Choice representative such as the present piece generates strong interest. The glowing surfaces have an attractive blend of orange and greenish-brown color.
