1909-S VDB 1C MS64 Red PCGS. A solidly struck and shim
1909-S VDB 1C MS64 Red PCGS. A solidly struck and shimmering straw-gold example of this coveted key date cent. The all-important VDB initials are needle-sharp, and only the infrequent minuscule carbon fleck determines the grade. Recent research by Nancy Oliver and Richard Kelly, in a February 2007 Coin World commentary, suggests the actual mintage for the 1909-S VDB cent was 486,480 pieces instead of the traditional 484,000.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
