<B>1909-S $5 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> Despite its mintage that approaches 300,000 pieces, the 1909-S five dollar is very difficult to locate in the better grades of Mint State. Indeed, a perusal of the PCGS/NGC population figures indicates the vast majority of survivors fall into the MS60 to MS62 grade ranges. This MS62 example is attractive and lustrous with nice eye appeal and sharp design elements. Light handling marks in the raised, exposed fields define the grade.
