<B>1909-S $20 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> With a mintage of 2.7 million pieces, the 1909-S is readily available through MS64, mostly because of a bag that came on the market in 1989. It becomes much more challenging in full Gem, and rare in the higher grades of Mint State. The Gem offered here displays peach-gold patina with subtle orange accents. Bright luster radiates from both sides, and all of the design elements are well brought up. Sharp definition is noted on Liberty's face, fingers, and toes, and on the eagle's feathers. The Capitol dome, on the other hand, is somewhat soft.
