Half Eagles 1909-o NGC graded About Uncirculated 58. <b>Pleasing mint luster. This wonderful example appears Mint State at first glance, and even with close scrutiny, light hairlines which account for the assigned grade are a challenge to distinguish. Contact marks are minimal. The 1909-O Indian Head half eagle is one of the keys to the series, boasting a mintage of just 34,200 pieces. It is second in stature only to the 1929, a date which never officially entered circulation. Examples of this New Orleans branch mint half eagle in this grade are extremely desirable due their very limited supply and constant demand by specialists in the series.
