<B>1909-O $5 AU55 NGC.</B></I> The 1909-O half eagle, with a 34,200-piece mintage, the lowest in the Indian Head five dollar series, is a key date and always in high demand. It is relatively rare in Mint State. This Choice AU example retains a fair amount of luster on peach-gold surfaces, and is sharply defined, although the eagle's shoulder is almost smooth.
