<B>1909-D<$5> MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The 1909-D Indian Head half eagle is a readily available issue that Akers calls "the most common date of this type." This is a typical near-Gem example that is boldly struck with satiny luster. Green-gold and peach toning occurs in a variegated fashion over both sides, and surface disruptions are not excessive.
