<B>1909-D $20 MS65 NGC.</B></I> Lovely peach and lime hues confirm the originality of this attractively preserved and fully lustrous Gem. Crisply struck, and impressively preserved for this Denver Mint issue, which is rare in such lofty condition. A mere handful of small marks are counted on each side. Just 52,500 pieces were struck, and those that survived government melts were indifferently stored for many years, being regarded as strictly bullion. High grade examples such as this are very desirable, given the immense popularity of the Saint-Gaudens series.
