1909-D $20 MS64 PCGS. A Choice specimen for the date and mint collector who appreciates frosty and attractive coins. Sharply struck as are most of this date, and the surfaces are free of all but the most trivial of handling marks. We note some faint lines near the mintmark, and a pair of shallow scuffs in the upper obverse fields. The luster is satiny and full, and the coloration a mixture of straw-gold, olive, and pastel rose. About as nice as this date is ever found, with just a handful seen finer, but a rather large group at this grade level. A few areas of haze are found with a glass, typical of many gold coins from this period. In a green label PCGS holder.
From The Matt & Susan Brown Family Collection of Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
