<B>1909-D $10 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> An appealing example of this luster-challenged issue, here with blazing luster on both sides complementing alternating areas of peach-gold and greenish-gold. A simply beautiful near-Gem, the present piece under a loupe reveals a couple of tiny ticks on the cheek and chin that limit a Gem grade, but they also disclose enormous eye appeal and appealing depth of character. Since so few Gem examples have been graded (currently only a half-dozen at NGC and PCGS combined), the present specimen appears to offer both aesthetic quality and monetary value.
