<B>1909<5C> PR68 NGC.</B></I> The design elements are sharply brought up, including nearly full definition on the corn ear and leaves to the left of the bowknot. A cameo-like effect results from the frosty motifs being highlighted against the fields. Subtle sky-blue and beige-gold patina overlays virtually pristine surfaces. Nearly 2,000 proofs have been certified by NGC and PCGS, but only eight have been assigned the lofty PR68 grade, with none finer (9/06).
