The T206's remain one of the strongest demand issues in the hobby, with prices continuing to move upwards over the past couple of years. This one features Sherry Magee in his "batting" version (there is also a Magee portrait, and a highly prized and ultra expensive error variant) with a much scarcer "Old Mill" back. Magee was one of the premier hitters of the Deadball Era, however his accomplishments are discounted a bit as he spent many years in a very hitter friendly ballpark. He led the National League in batting in 1910, and in RBIs a total of 4 times. This is graded a strong 3 VG by PSA. Of the 587 T206 Magee (batting) cards in the PSA database (vast majority are Piedmont and Sweet Caporal backs), only 30 have the Old Mill back. This is 1 of 8 in this grade (19 graded higher). This is a 110+ year old baseball card of prominent player, and a built in "true" scarcity.

A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.
The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.
The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his sole discretion.
Galaxy Auctions Canada assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted.
Products are sold "as is, where is" and there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature.
Catalogue is prepared only as a guide. No sale shall be invalidated by any reason or defect or inaccuracy of description in catalogue or otherwise, and no liability shall be borne by the auctioneers by virtue of any such fault or error.

The winning bidder is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full.
In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within 72 hours (unless email arrangements are made), the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser.
All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the winner bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer.
The winning bidder hereby indemnifies the auctioneer and the vendor against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots.
Any lots not removed within the prescribed time shall be deemed as abandoned. The auctioneer shall have the right to resell or dispose of such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser.
If for any reason, Galaxy Auctions Canada is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Galaxy Auctions Canada shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
It is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder to remove their items within the prescribed time.
Galaxy Auctions Canada is not responsible for shipping Carrier's lost or damaged items.
Shipping is calculated and included in the initial invoice sent 24 hours (or less) after the auction closes. Credit cards on file will be charged 48 hours after the auction closes, unless alternative payment is confirmed prior by email.
