<B>1908-S 50C MS66 NGC.</B></I> Delicate golden patina graces the borders of this sharply struck and highly lustrous Premium Gem. Only incidental contact is seen on either side, even with the aid of magnification. Like so many Barber half issues, the 1908-S is plentiful in AG and Good, but is rare in better circulated grades, and Mint State examples probably do not surpass a few dozen pieces. Among these Uncirculated survivors, most grade between MS62 to MS64. The increasingly popular Barber series have far more collectors than the quantity of high grade pieces can supply.
