<B>1908-S $5 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The 1908-S Half Eagle is one of those coins that "comes nice", a low mintage piece that is counterintuitively the most available coin in the series in grades of MS66 and up. As such, this date is ideal as a type coin for a collector who desires to have the finest available piece, regardless of date. This is a highly lustrous piece, brass-gold in hue, with slightly deeper color on the high points and a couple of noticeable alloy spots on the obverse.
