1908-S $5 MS64 PCGS. The 1908-S is a perennially popular issue in the Indian half eagle series--partly because of its low mintage of only 82,000 pieces. This is a curious coin and one with unusual charm. The surfaces are bright, quite unlike the thick mint frost normally seen on S-mint coinage. Sharply struck, there are just the slightest abrasions present that prevent an even higher grade. Population: 80 in 64, 54 finer (10/06).
From The Dr. Eugene Cherny Collection of $5 and $10 Indians.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
