<B>1908-D 25C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The '08-D, with a mintage of nearly six million pieces, is one of the more common dates in the Barber quarter series; an R.1 designation has been assigned by David Lawrence in his <I>Guide.</B></I> In Premium Gem, however, this issue is infrequently encountered. The current coin displays rainbow-like toning around the margins and light silver-gray color in the centers. The design elements are well impressed, and the radiantly lustrous surfaces are devoid of significant marks.
