Beautiful antique die-cut Valentine's card framed with embossed pink clovers and yellow buttercups with gold accents. The colors are vivid. In the center is a darling girl in a bonnet who has filled her skirt full of flowers. Inside, within scrolls and flowers, it reads:
"True Love My heart is no more free, for thou hast made of me A captive by love's throne. He ne'er will lose again, but sweet his bonds have grown,--I would not break the chain"
It is unsigned on the inside, but on the back, in pencil, it says, "Irene Weirner From Eunice Kraft" and also in pencil, "1908". It is in very good condition: the die cut edges are crisp but for 3 little tips of leaves that were bent and a small (1/2 inch) crease line on the bottom of the inside--see photo. I have many more lovely Valentine's cards for sale; please check them out!
