1908 25C MS66 PCGS. Like all post-1905 Philadelphi
1908 25C MS66 PCGS. Like all post-1905 Philadelphia issues with the exception of the 1913, the 1908 Barber quarter is a relatively available coin up to and including the MS65 level. It becomes more difficult in Premium Gem and above, as evidenced by the population figures. PCGS and NGC combined have certified only eleven pieces in MS66, with a mere three higher (1/05). Furthermore, according to our records, since about 1990, only five MS66 specimens have appeared in major auction sales, with just one graded higher. This example is pure silvery-white, with radiant luster and sharply struck design elements. Just a couple of tiny marks on Liberty's portrait are hardly noticeable. Population: 10 in 66, 1 finer (1/05). Lot:6617
