1908 $20 No Motto MS66 NGC. Ex: Freedom Collection. While Theodore Roosevelt's impassioned defense of his decision to omit IN GOD WE TRUST from coinage is legendary in numismatics, not so well known is that he deferred to the wishes of Congress and signed into law the bill that put the motto on Saint-Gaudens' designs. This well-preserved example has strong luster and smooth butter-yellow surfaces with a touch of orange. The devices are solidly struck, and the fields have only a few scattered marks.
From The Freedom Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
