Striking definition is pleasingly sharp for the issue with some softness of detail over the eagle's wing feathers -- the result of the manner in which the reverse die was engraved. A satiny, brilliant golden yellow example, the reverse shows delicate iridescent patina while both sides break the barriers to the usual dullness found on this design. Crisply struck and problem-free, a classic coin in Gem condition!
