In a population, the outliers are freak occurrences, exceptional, improbable, and surprising. All three adjectives apply to this stunning Superb Gem, apricot-gold with a touch of peach in the centers. Both sides display swirling luster, bold detail, and exquisitely preserved surfaces.<BR> Garrett and Guth (2006) mention this particular example in their entry on the issue. They note: "There has been one example certified as MS68 by NGC."
